Established in 2003, SIM is an injection moulding complany based in the North East of England and predominately services the automotive, oil & gas and medical industry.
Spotting an opportunity for the production of small injection mouldings, Ray Liddell founded the company. Adding Cactus Products Ltd in 2009 due to the challenges of the ‘Credit Crunch’ Cactus offers a direct sale of the company’s own products using ecommerence (rewrite this)
SIM has the same values and benfits that are even more present today, 20 years later, with regard to working efficently, ethically and producing as little waste as possible.
In 2021 Ray fulfilled a lifetimes ambition of adding a fully capable, on-site toolroom to support the manufacture all the company’s mould tool requirements. The Toolroom Ltd (TTR) as it is named has full CNC Mill, Spark Erosion, Wire Erosion, Turning and Grinding capability along side a comphrehensive CAD CAM system. The Toolroom Ltd also works fully independantly within the automotive, oil & gas and medical industry.
